  Abstract:  L’uomo carnale, psichico o spirituale. Dopo che Dio ha creato l’universo spirituale “in silenzio”, l’universo materiale (il cielo e la terra) “in principio”, creò l’uomo “in consiglio” dicendo: «facciamo l’uomo a nostra immagine, a nostra somiglianza» (Gen 1,26). La struttura dell’uomo plasmato da Dio è triplice: il corpo dalla polvere del suolo; lo spirito dall’alito di vita e l’anima viva che è la novitâ creata quale da l’identitâ dell’uomo (Gen 2,7). Secondo san Paolo (1 Cor 2,10-3,4) e i Padri della Chiesa (san Massimo il Confessore e san Giovanni Casiano), tramite la libera volontâ e pensiero l’uomo e attirato e si può muovere verso il mondo materiale, verso se stesso (sua natura) o verso Dio, diventando cosi carnale o freddo; psichico o tiepido; spirituale o caldo (cf, Ap 3,15).
